- Also known as pot marigolds. used to color cheese or as a replacement for saffron. Calendula is often used in lotions and oils to keep the skin smooth and soft, and in teas and tinctures for relief from skin inflammation and irritation. The oil is used as an anti-inflammatory, an antitumor agent, and a remedy for healing wounds
Storage: Store dried calendula in glass jars with airtight seals or sealed plastic bags or under vacuum seal. Keep it out of the light
